Patient Campaign Specialist

The Children's Organ Transplant Association is a national, non-profit organization, which raises funds for children and young adults who need or have had an organ or marrow transplant. The Patient Campaign Specialist position is a key member of Marketing Team.

Position:

The Patient Campaign Specialist serves as a primary liaison between client fundraising volunteers and COTA staff, with responsibility for all primary client contacts, follow-up activities, and scheduling of patient fundraising campaigns. The Patient Campaign Specialist coordinates the corporate website and assists with corporate communications. Work does not follow a routine daily schedule, and there will be occasional overtime, with occasional domestic travel. Position is required to meet frequent deadlines.

Qualifications:

• Able to prioritize and handle multiple duties at one time
• Ability to work with minimal supervision, under pressure, and with deadlines
• The ability to deal with the public in a clear, tactful, informative, and courteous manner
• Excellent communications (verbal and written) skills
• Public speaking experience
• Experience with database management, website administration and desktop publishing
• Ability to analyze situations and find solutions to a variety of complicated challenges
• Experience in a non-profit setting and with fundraising preferred
