Speech & Language Pathologist

Qualifications:

• Minimum MA degree with major in Speech and Language Pathology with minimum of 60 semester or equivalent hours of academic credit in normal aspects of human communication, development thereof, and clinical techniques for evaluation and management of speech and language disorders
• Minimum of 300 clock hours of supervised practicum experience with persons who present a variety of communication disorders, to be acquired in conjunction with academic training, 150 hours of which shall be obtained at the graduate level
• Prefer applicant with valid Michigan teaching certificate
• Prefer previous experience with physically impaired, hearing impaired, and visually impaired students
• Prefer applicant with sign language skills

Early Childhood

Qualifications:

• Valid Michigan elementary teaching certificate with Early Childhood Specialist (ZA) endorsement required
• CPR and First Aid certified
• Family Independence Agency clearance
• Experience in research methods or data collection and analysis of early childhood-related programs
• Experience in developing readiness skills in the affective, cognitive, physical, and social areas if development
