Autistic Impaired

Qualifications:

• Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate with state approval as a Special Education teacher of the Autistic Impaired
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with students, parents, and staff
• Evidence of strong and varied personal and professional characteristics
• Basic understanding and working knowledge of the IEPC process
• Evidence of strong behavior management skills; CPI training required
• Demonstrated ability with alternative communication models, i.e. PECS
